The largest trade fair in the sector that is organized in Asia, some manufacturers are beginning to present their new products in the coming months. One company that comes more loaded with new features is ASUS.
Taiwan will continue betting big on Android tablets, as evidenced by the announcement of the new ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7, a model which, as its name suggests, bet on the seven – inch format. Despite its size, the screen will have a more than acceptable resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (hence the name ‘HD’) and uses an IPS panel , which ensures good viewing angles.
Bet on this screen size allows us to offer a very compact device, as shown by its dimensions of 120.6 × 196.8 × 10,8mm and weighs only 302 grams.
However, what we liked most is that despite the fact that we find a tablet of the so-called “affordable”, we find some specifications rather than interesting. And is that inside we have a processor ARM Cortex A7 quad core, accompanied by 1GB of RAM. It will be available in sizes 8 and 16GB, but has the advantage of having a card slot microSD up to32GB. A point in favor, the latter, regarding other similar models such as the Nexus 7.
In the multimedia section highlight the main camera of 5 megapixels and a front 1.2 – megapixel for videoconferencing. The sound is provided by a speaker system Sonic Master.
Perhaps the only but we can put it is that it will arrive with Android 4.0 as an operating system, with no news that it will receive any updates later.
It has not yet released its release date, but if its price will be $ 129 the 8GB version and $ 149 if we chose the 16GB model.
