Bristol Airport has a busy schedule of domestic and international flights, making it a great option for those flying both for business or pleasure. Located just a little way outside the city it is easy to access in a number of ways, from hopping on a train, jumping on a coach or even using a convenient Bristol taxi.

Easy Train Access

Bristol Airport has excellent train links all over the country. Frequent services run between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads, with a typical journey time of well under two hours. At peak times this service leaves twice every hour, making it a convenient and speedy option for those travelling from the capital. There are also hourly trains from Exeter and Plymouth and services every half hour from Cardiff at peak times. Once you have arrived at Bristol Temple Meads station, a transfer to the airport on the Bristol International Flyer bus will take approximately half an hour.

Coach

Travelling to the airport by coach can be extremely convenient. National Express services run to Bristol from all over the country, arriving at Bristol Bus Station. From here the Bristol International Flyer will take you straight to the airport. Travelling by coach may not always be the quickest method but it is extremely good value. Not only are tickets competitively priced but many services run longer hours than other modes of transport.

Car or Private Taxi Hire

If you have lots of luggage then travelling to the airport by car is likely to be your preferred option. The airport is well-equipped with car parking so if you have your own vehicle you can opt to leave it here. If your flight leaves very early you might decide to book into an airport hotel the night before, in which case many of the hotels offer well-priced long and short stay parking packages. One of the most convenient transport options is to hire a Bristol taxi. You can arrange to be collected at a time to suit you, which is useful if your flight leaves very early or late and there is no public transport available. You can be dropped directly at the terminal with no need to worry about parking.
